About the training program
The new master's program "Bioinformatics" was formed in 2020 at the intersection of two fundamental sciences: biology and informatics, which allows solving one of the main problems of modern science – the analysis of large volumes of genetic, epigenetic omics, proteomic electrophysiological data.
What do graduates do?
Bioinformatics is an interdisciplinary field of scientific knowledge lying at the intersection of biology, physics, mathematics, and computer science and has great potential for solving the most important scientific problems. Bioinformatics focuses on the development of technologies for modeling ultra-complex dynamic systems, including: the creation of models of neuron-like networks, the theory of complex multi-level biological systems; modeling and analysis of the dynamics of regulatory networks, including synthetic gene networks; the development of specialized software for data processing and analysis.
