About the training program

Within the framework of the master's program, such disciplines as current problems of modern electronics and nanoelectronics, nanophotonics, spintronics, and others are studied. The scientific work of master's students is related to the development and research of semiconductor nanostructures, including light-emitting (laser and LED) low-dimensional heterostructures with quantum pits and quantum dots, optically active media based on nanocrystals in semiconductor and dielectric matrices, nanostructures based on diluted magnetic semiconductors, and dielectric layers with metallic nanoinclusions.

A graduate who has mastered the master's program is in demand by enterprises in the electronics industry, as their qualification will meet approved professional standards: PS 40.019 Specialist in functional verification and development of functional control tests for nanoscale integrated circuits; PS 40.037 Specialist in the development of technology for the production of quantum electronics and photonics devices; PS 40.104 Specialist in the measurement of parameters and modification of properties of nanomaterials and nanostructures.
