Orenburg State University

Today, OSU is the largest multidisciplinary scientific and educational center in the region, including the main university, three branches, and two colleges. The institution has more than 20,000 students. High-quality education is provided by the faculty, 85 percent of whom have academic degrees. The university is known for its engineering school and constantly develops new scientific directions. Research work occupies a special place in the life of the university. More than a third of students are involved in scientific projects, which helps to form not only professional skills but also a creative approach to the future specialty. Young scientists work in design bureaus, creating projects in demand in practice. About 600 leading enterprises of the region and the country cooperate with the university, providing a base for practice and subsequent employment of graduates.
