About the university
Today, Moscow University is the largest classical university in Russia. MSU has 40 faculties (21 faculties have been established over the past 20 years), 15 research institutes, a Medical Scientific and Educational Center, a Scientific Library, 4 museums, a Botanical Garden, a Science Park, branches in Sarov, Sevastopol, Tashkent, Astana, Baku, Dushanbe, Yerevan, and a joint MSU-PPI university in Shenzhen (China). The area of the MSU campus on Vorobyovy Gory in Moscow is 1,200,000 sq.m. The campus territory can be compared to a city within a city — a student does not even need to leave its borders, as everything necessary is available here: libraries, reading rooms, relaxation rooms, printing, post office, laundries, beauty salon, hair salons, medical points, pharmacy, dispensary, canteens, cafes, buffets, grocery stores, gyms, swimming pools, stadiums, courts, bicycle and roller rental, parks, and parking lots.

MSU campus on Mokhovaya
On the campus are the buildings of the Faculty of Journalism, the Institute of Asian and African Countries, the Faculty of Psychology, and the Faculty of Arts, the house temple of Martyr Tatiana at Moscow State University, and the scientific research zoological museum of Moscow State University.
MSU campus on Sparrow Hills
On the campus, there are academic buildings of the faculties, an intellectual center — the Fundamental Library of Moscow State University, a medical scientific and educational center, a botanical garden of the biology faculty of Moscow State University, and sports facilities.
