About the training program
During their studies, students are actively involved in conducting scientific research: they analyze the structural features of genes of hereditary diseases, search for molecular-genetic markers of predisposition to multifactorial pathology, conduct molecular-genetic studies of populations, and analyze ancient DNA. Special attention is paid to the study of the structure and functions of molecules that make up living organisms, metabolism, bioenergetic mechanisms, and principles of regulating metabolic processes; the biochemical foundations of pathological processes and the immunity of humans and other organisms.
