About the training program
In global terms, specialists in this field will be engaged in solving the main problem of the third millennium – the survival of humanity. Their activities will allow society to save colossal material resources lost in various disasters and accidents. The range of professional tasks includes: organization of habitat protection; organization of the activities of enterprises and regions in emergency situations and disasters; expertise of technical projects, productions, industrial enterprises; conducting scientific research on professional and production risks; dangerous interactions of humans with the habitat; creation of effective means of human protection.
What do graduates do?
Graduates of the specialty can work in state environmental structures, management and control bodies of occupational safety, in environmental and occupational safety departments at state and private enterprises, in energy, transport, communications, in regional and territorial bodies of the Ministry of Emergency Situations:
— occupational safety specialist;
— environmental engineer;
— specialist of supervisory organizations in the field of occupational safety and fire safety;
— specialist in the field of occupational safety, industrial and fire safety (conducting special assessment of working conditions, occupational safety expertise, training in occupational safety, etc.)
