About the training program
The goal of the program is to prepare bachelors ready to participate in research to improve the technique of experiments in the field of high-energy physics, as well as to solve fundamental problems of cosmology and particle physics. The uniqueness of the program lies in the combination of physical and mathematical disciplines with IT technologies, which allows the graduate to analyze a large volume of data using various methods, including artificial intelligence.
What do graduates do?
Graduates of the program have in-depth knowledge of experimental nuclear physics, elementary particle physics, and cosmophysics. They can participate in the preparation and conduct of experiments, including the design and construction of particle and radiation detectors, as well as in the processing and analysis of experimental data. The graduating department is the base department of the National Research Center "Kurchatov Institute," and also closely cooperates with leading scientific centers in Russia and the world.
