About the University
Russian State Agrarian University - MSHA named after K.A. Timiryazev was founded in 1865. The university campus with an area of 555 hectares is located within the city limits of Moscow, 9 km from the Kremlin, and has a modern educational laboratory and research base. The university conducts active activities aimed at integrating and developing international relations in the field of agricultural education and science, has agreements with universities and scientific centers in more than 40 countries around the world. Science Library
The first scientific library in Russia for agriculture. It is included in the list of the largest libraries in Russia. Funds - more than 4.2 million units of storage. Total area - 11,000 sq.m. College of Technology
Currently, education at the college is conducted in 15 specialties, including veterinary medicine, agronomy, land management, mechatronics and robotics, garden and landscape design. More than 1500 Russian and foreign students are studying at the college.
Preparatory Department
Preparation of foreign citizens for admission to universities in the Russian Federation is carried out both on a budgetary and contractual basis in the following profiles: economic, engineering-technical, natural science, medical. The training period is 9 months. Annually, more than 300 foreign students undergo training.
Sports complex
The university's sports complex includes a fitness hall, 4 sports halls, 6 outdoor sports fields (basketball/volleyball, Street Workout, gymnastics and gym fields). More than 85% of students are engaged in 72 sports in the sports sections
comfortable dormitories
The University has 13 dormitories, which include self-study rooms, gyms, cafes, laundry, and kitchens. All dormitories are within walking distance of the academic buildings. Each dormitory has internet.
Equestrian complex
At the Equestrian Sports Complex, 20 horses (17 leading breeds) are kept. Educational classes are held for students studying in veterinary and zootechnical fields. There is a riding arena. Everyone who wishes can undergo riding training.
