About the University
MIPT was founded in 1946 by Nobel laureates Petr Kapitsa, Lev Landau, and Nikolai Semenov to train the country's research and engineering elite, and from the very beginning was involved in the most priority state initiatives: the space and nuclear programs. Over more than 75 years of history, dozens of academicians of sciences, outstanding scientists, and inventors have emerged from the walls of MIPT. One of the key factors determining the level of training of graduates is the Fiztekh System proposed by Petr Kapitsa, encapsulated in the following principles: 1. Careful selection of the most gifted and creative youth;
2. Participation of leading scientists in training;
3. Individual work with each student within the framework of training in basic institutes, with each student participating in scientific work starting from the second or third year;
4. Each student must master modern methods of theoretical and experimental research after graduation.

Corpses
On the campus in Dolgoprudny, 9 educational buildings are concentrated. Several have separate reading rooms for independent work, where you can study even at night. Some of the buildings are named after the scientific directions of MIPT, for example, Phystech.BIO, Phystech.Digital, Phystech.Quantum, and Phystech.Arctic.
Medicine
At the MIPT polyclinic, there is an organized reception for doctors and specialists: therapists, surgeons, gynecologists, neurologists, dentists; there are also procedural and electrocardiographic rooms.
And throughout the year, students can improve their health at the dispensary, where vouchers are distributed monthly.
dormitory
All foreign students are provided with a dormitory. On each floor, there are kitchens with everything necessary, 24-hour reading rooms, high-speed internet; there are clubs for student events. Master's and postgraduate students live in Moscow, where most of the basic departments are located.
