700 foreign students became participants of the Summer University project

The international youth project "Summer University", organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, has completed its work. 700 students from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Syria, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the Donbass republics were able to relax and gain new knowledge at the sites of 14 Russian universities.

For two weeks, from July 10 to July 24, the guys received knowledge, improved their professional skills, got acquainted with Russian culture and traditions on the basis of 14 universities: Baltic Federal University named after. I. Kant, Grozny State Oil Technical University named after Academician M. D. Millionshchikov, Far Eastern Federal University, Crimean Federal University. V. I. Vernadsky, Moscow State University of Food Production, Moscow State Law University named after O. E. Kutafin, Pskov State University, Russian State University named after A. N. Kosygin, St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI" named after V. I. Ulyanov (Lenin), North Caucasian Federal University, Siberian Federal University, Sochi State University, Tyumen State University, Southern Federal University.

The project allowed students from countries near and far abroad to have an interesting rest, acquire new knowledge and get acquainted with Russian universities. During their stay at the sites of universities, the guests, under the guidance of scientists and teachers, learned a lot of useful and interesting information, joined the Russian culture and traditions of different regions of Russia. For students from abroad, twenty-five educational programs were prepared in engineering, economics, IT, agriculture, journalism and other disciplines.

Classes were held, including in laboratories and research institutes. The project participants said that they would share their knowledge and impressions with their compatriots. Many expressed a desire to take a full-fledged course in the universities that accepted them.
