Preparatory department for Bachelor's programmes
Preparatory Course at Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University is both an intensive course of learning the Russian language and preparing for entrance exams and further studies at the University. This program is specially designed for international students willing to enter degree studies in various fields.
This course is for those who:
- do not speak Russian or
- consider their knowledge insufficient
But want to study at IKBFU!
We suggest intensive courses of the Russian language, introduction to core subjects in the chosen field, profound preparation for entrance exams at Russian Universities (after finishing the Preparatory Course you will be able to enter not only IKBFU but all Russian universities!), and also exciting student life. If you feel uneasy about studying in an unknown country (with new traditions), please do not worry: you will have a buddy who will meet you at the airport and help to cope with all possible problems that you can face during your stay in Kaliningrad. Your buddy will show you the city and help to integrate into the student life of the University.

Of course! Graduates, who successfully pass final exams, will receive a certificate. This certificate will show your level of the Russian language making you eligible to continue studies at the University.
Optionally, graduates of the Preparatory Course are offered an opportunity to take the TORFL and receive an internationally recognized certificate.Tuition Fee: 137 000 rubles (for 2021/2022 academic year)
