University professors are fluent in several languages, including Chinese

Hello! I’m Zhu Ning, I came to the HSE University from China. This year is my second year of my Master degree on Socioeconomics and Political Development of Modern Asia. I find this programme very interesting, especially when we talk about how to do business in modern Asia countries such as China, Japan, South Korea and so on. I think this programme is very promising because Modern Asia is the biggest emerging market with rich countries and great economic perspectives. It really helps students from other countries understand this region and learn more about it.

And what did really surprised me here is that professors here do really speak fluently many languages. And I find it very friendly when my professor speaks to me in Chinese on the level of the native speaker, using some specific words and with local accents. It makes me feel comfortable. I really recommend this programme and this university to all international students.
