Petrozavodsk is a clean, beautiful city, with a nice architecture and friendly inhabitants
I didn’t have any difficulties with adaptation in Petrozavodsk. I liked my Russian courses at the University very much. The number of students in the group and the number of classes is appropriate. That way everyone could easily learn Russian language efficient and fast. I don’t have anything to add in connection with the programme. The most challenging about my studying was learning verbs of moving.
Living conditions were excellent, I couldn’t imagine better ones. Family where I lived is hospitable, responsible, every agreement that we had was respected, in everyday conversation I found out a lot about Russia and Russian culture and in the end I didn’t feel like a foreigner, I felt like a member of the family. I wouldn’t like to change anything. I would like to come again to this family. Advice: come to the families and you wouldn’t regret it.
The town of Petrozavodsk is clean and beautiful with nice architecture and friendly habitants, it has very beautiful places to visit, nature around the town is very beautiful, and it has very vivid night life.
The University is very well organised, I could get the information about the course very fast and they were very punctual. The teachers were really good lecturers. Classes were really interesting, amusing, and serious. In every class there was a lot to learn. Teachers were good in explaining every problem in details. The personnel of the International Office was really good organized. I could get any information that I wanted.
Overall opinion is very positive. I want to come back again to Petrozavodsk.
