Online courses from Russian universities won the EdCrunch Award OOC

The international competition of open online courses EdCrunch Award OOC has been held for many years as part of Europe's largest EDCRUNCH conference dedicated to educational innovation. The best courses were chosen at the end of 2020.

EdCrunch Award OOC had three main and several sponsorship nominations. The winner in the special Programming nomination was the free course Quick Start to Sports Programming for high school and junior students, developed by MIPT in cooperation with Yandex and Megafon. The programme is intended for beginners in IT. You can register and start studying immediately.

The ETU LETI online courses won several prizes as well. Gold in the Best course category according to the consumer version was awarded to Professional foreign language. Second place in the category Best Online Course in Engineering Education went to the Developing Pattern Recognition Systems for Autonomous Service Robots course. Both programmes are designed for master's students.

The EDCRUNCH conference has been held since 2013 by the National Research Technological University MISiS, University 2035 and the Skolkovo Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and Mail.ru Group. In 2020, digital technologies became the main theme of the event, which gathered more than 10 000 online participants.
