The programme aims to train skilled analysts and decision-makers in the power generation sector (including oil and gas industry). It is focused on finance, strategy, technology, energy policy, energy markets etc. The training is oriented towards applied research and analytical activities, with visits to oil fields in the Novosibirsk region to gain hands-on experience. Graduates can make a career in business or banking.

The programme is for those who want to become a skilled doctor，with diagnostic, emergency aid, long-term treatment and patient rehabilitation competences. Classes are conducted in English during the first two years of study. Over this period, students gain sufficient language proficiency to continue their studies in Russian for the next four years. Graduates can pursue careers in research, preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic medicine etc. NSU degree in General Medicine is automatically recognised in a number of countries including Iran, Iraq and India.
